Explore Rockville: Global Bites is a restaurant-week style promotion celebrating  Rockville’s diverse culinary scene. Taking place in June 2025, this campaign invites food enthusiasts and casual diners to experience the city’s many flavors through special offers from participating restaurants.

Why participate?

It’s free! Eligible restaurants receive free promotion and advertising including:

• Organic and paid social media campaigns
• Display and search engine ads
• Editorial features and print ads
• Influencer and micro-distributor partnerships

Participating restaurants will also be included in Explore Rockville’s restaurant directory.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Located within the City of Rockville city limits – Check your address using the City of Rockville Address Checker https://rockvillemd.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0aa9fe18b6c64b46a61230da64a2b2fd

• Operational for at least 12 months

• Must offer dine-in and/or carry-out service

• In good standing with the Maryland State Department of Assessments & Taxation (SDAT)

• Not a national chain. (Local or regional restaurants established in District of Columbia, Maryland, or Northern Virginia with a City of Rockville presence may participate).

• No City, County, State or federal litigations, bankruptcies, liens, or other outstanding taxes.
